Long Distance

During the production of the blog I recorded for the most part. I made sure that the videos looked right and had correct angles during certain scenes of the music video. I recorded it on my iPhone and was able to send to my group mates. I made sure, as we were recording that we weren’t to over the time limit or to under. I wanted to be fancy, so I thought about adding slow-mos. I recorded them, but im unsure on whether I should add them. I made sure the camera was steady as I was video taking the music video. It was fun, we did a lot, lot of retakes but it got to the point when we finally finished. We planned out our schedule to film to 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and that was the perfect time slot. We kept recording until it met our standards I assume. We used other people in the music video also for the music video, and it came out pretty good. We also had back-ups just in case if anything happened. It was a learning process honestly. As I went in to record I had the mindset that “oh this is going to be so easy”. Turns out, it wasn’t hard it just wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. Especially recording for a time I don’t usually do. It was a fun process, I can say that. If I were to do it again, I would probably be in the video. Although I don’t mind recording, it’s interesting being behind the camera. It’s like seeing everything from a pov perspective. Which is why I love recording.
