Music Blog: Picking the Music

So for our music we decided to use royalty free music. In a sense, we took a little while to pick music. It would have taken entirely too long for an artist to get back to us if we picked a song made by a singer/artist. For us to pick this, I simply looked up creepy royalty free music. A lot of options came up for this. I literally just chose the first one I saw, or that popped up. It was actually good because this video had various sounds. The video was an hour long. I just scrolled through the video and saw which one I liked the most. The first one was the best one in my opinion. I then sent to the group chat that our group is in. Ludji and Joel both said they liked the first one too. So, we decided to use the first one. It was very suspenseful and eerie sound that definitely would leave someone creeped out. The name of the sound was “Deafening Silence” . I believe it really did match the atmosphere of our opening sequence. It did make a lot of sense to use this one, as all the other ones were a little exaggerated. The deafening silence was just perfect and perfectly matched the whole idea of “Future Calls”. Insert the sounding into the video was pretty easy and kinda took care of its self. I’m glad we were all able to come to a conclusion for the music.
