Re-Filming #2


 For the second part of re-filming there wasn’t much to do to be honest. We listened to what are friends/peers said and tried our best. For one part, we did re-film the outside of my house when it was a little bit darker. We did this because the time or the place is supposed to be at a later time. Such as, evening or dawn time. We thought about re-filming some parts only because some of our clips had a very muddy look. Ludji recommended for us to re-film sometime last week. However, we thought it was fine because it wasn’t the best time or to choose time re-film. The clips appearances weren’t affecting the point that we were trying to get across, so we decided to just leave as is. It’s not the best quality but we should’ve thought it a little more through. We used Ludji’s phone to recorded most of the parts and completely forgot her phone was cracked on the back. Meaning that her camera was also affected by cracks. Honestly, re-filming wasn’t our main concern, like at all. So, it really didn’t affect us that much more stress us out. We had already filmed ahead of time and were already to basically submit it after we got critiques from our peers. As for different takes, we re-filmed those a lot for a number of reasons. Such as, us laughing a whole bunch because of the awkward silence. This happened quite a lot and was one of the reasons we had to re-film certain scenes. We tried to fix what we could fix in the amount time that was given to us. I still would want to re-film certain parts though.

 Editing the film we made was a bit of a struggle since we all had different ideas on how it should be made. On top of that, we edited over FaceTime. This made it harder since we weren’t face to face with one another. First, we had to figure out what was going to be the title sequence and what would be the opening shot. We already decided what our font would be but, we had some last minute ideas. However, the last minutes ideas we could not change since we already put what it would be in our blogs. We decided that my house will be the video for part of the film that shows the title, actors, production company, etc. One thing we came across while editing is a realization. The instructions specified that we were to make an opening sequence a movie. This meaning the START of a film. Critical Creative Reflection

My product or music video challenges by using certain angles, editing clips, using captions, sound, and acting. Like, for example, for angles as I was filming I would put my hand higher or lower to make a high or low angle. I used shots such as, over the shoulder to show a character from the other characters point of view. Also, a Point of View shot, to show the world, or setting from their eyes or perspective. For editing clips, we used things like split screen, to show both characters at once, or fading in and fading out to go to the next clip.
