Production Blog ｰ Thinking

 Hey guys, it’s Mai’Lyia again and I will be explaining pre-production process. I will talking about what apps I will be using as well as the people I want to include in the video. For my film, I will be using my phone to record it. While I record the film, it will be sectioned and probably be 30 seconds per video. I will use the app CapCut or iMovie to put these videos together to make my video to be 5 minutes long. I’m not set on which app I want to use for sure but it will definitely be one of these. Last year, I used Alight Motion which was an amazing app however, the subscription came up, and I do not want to pay the money for it. Soon, some time in late February I will begin to film with my sisters. If I need anymore help I will also call my friends for help. I’m using all of my family for the video but I’ll have extra back up just in case anything happens. Initially, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do for my film. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to do this all by myself. However, I sat and eventually figured it out and hope everything goes well. The name for the film which isn’t set in stone yet is “What You Left Behind”. I think this is a solid title and will change it if I feel like it. The characters in the film will include Renee which is my sister, Mihanna, and she is 17 in the film. She is the main character. Phillipa is also another character, which is my other sister, Elise, and she is 16 in the film. I will also use my parents and older brother as background characters. My little brother, David, will be the bad guy in the film. These aren’t set yet and I may end up changing who’s who and which person best fits the character.
