Script for My Short Film

 Scene 1- 

Renee is sitting at her desk scribbling in her notebook.

Renee

(Scribbling)

Her phone goes off as she receives a text message. 

The text message from an unknown number reads: “remember me ;) ?”

Renee fingers are hovering over her phone as she doesn’t recognize the number?

As she types she whispers it

Renee: “Who is this?”

Renee pushes send and watches her phone with an intent gaze.

The unknown number responds back: “Don’t play coy, you know me.”

Renee gets up, nervous and scared from the message she received. She pulls her curtain back checking her front empty porch.

She sits back down and receives another text.

Unknown number message: “I know what you did.”

Renee gets up and heads to her door, checking the empty hallway as she pants.

Scene 2 - 

As she steps out into the hallway she heads to the bathroom.

She opens the door and locks it, looking into the mirror as she splashes water on her face.

Renee: “You’re just paranoid, mom will be home in a couple days.

She unlocks the door and steps out the bathroom and heads back to her room.

She looks down and see a note.

The note reads: I’m still here.

Scene 3 - 

She looks into dark empty hallway as she drops the note that was in her hands.

Scene 4 - 

Flashback: Renee hands grip the steering wheel as a sharp screech of the tires.

Scene 5 - 

Renee snaps back to reality now on the sofa couch as she dials Phillipa phone number on the house phone because she left her phone upstairs.

It goes straight to voicemail.

Phillipa’s Voicemail: Sorry I can’t come to the phone right now give me a call later! If it’s you Reneé I’m extra sorry!! (laughs)

Renee: “Oh Phillipa please answer me back… I’m scared and my mom won’t pick up either.”

Scene 6 - 

Phillipa’s at a party with her friends dancing at a party, the music too loud to hear her phone ringing.

Scene 7 - 

The doorbell rings.

Renee stands up and places the house phone down.

She heads to the door, grabbing a bat. 

She open the door and looks down at the welcome with another note. 

The note: “YOU CAN’T ESCAPE.”

Renee: “LEAVE ME ALONE!!”

Her face drops and she close the door immediately, runs back to her room and slams the door. 

Scene 8 - 

A notification pops up on her computer screen.

Notification: I waited for you. You left me for dead.

She gets the flashback again, flickering lights as her hands gripped the steering wheel tightly. 

Flashback: The victim is on the floor on the floor in the street, unconscious. 

Scene 9 - 

She snaps back to reality again and gets under her cover as she here’s a banging on the window. 

Unknown number: I’m here. 

The bad guys comes and grabs Renee. 

She screams.
