Production Blog - Organized Chaos Has Ended!

Hey Blog! It’s me, Mai’Lyia your fav, and I’m back with another one of my rants about the production process! Let’s get into it! So, today was the day. We finally finished filming! It was a lot, and some shots we have to shoot more than others, but it came out just right in my opinion. There were some ups and downs, and times where it was difficult when wanting to continue. Overall, I loved doing the film with my family, and wouldn’t change anything. Some final decisions I have to make are just editing some clips, and putting certain effects on it to make it seem more realistic. As for editing, I’ve done pretty much the majority of it. As I was filming and putting clips together, I was also editing along the way. This actually made it SO much easier in the end. As the website, I’m working on that now, and it is a bit difficult to say the least. I keep trying new designs and just seeing what ultimately fits the whole entire theme. Wix.com is actually a pretty good website to say the least. However, I was getting very frustrated when trying to edit the site because my computer was have technical issues. Either way, I’ll figure it out, and get it done efficiently. As for the postcard, I am currently taking screenshots from my film to figure out which to include on there. It actually looks pretty good so far. But yes, that concludes my journey through this crazy process of my film. Working by myself wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. In a way, it was simpler maybe? In reality I wasn’t really working alone because I had my family with me but putting everything together wise, yes. I thank my whole entire family for this film because without them it would’ve been tough. I’d like to thank my sister especially, as she was the main character. Also, some changes to the script had to be made. Instead of it being a huge plot twist at the end, I felt like the future victim coming back to revenge was already enough. Insinuating that she was stuck in a time loop would’ve left questions, and whole different idea. So, I had to also change the script up a bit as well.
