Production Blog: Filmy Filmy Day Número Dos!

 Hey Blog! It’s your fav Ma’Lyia, and I’m her to rant about the 2nd day of the filming day process!!! Had a minor setback but we’re back so, let’s get into it! So, in my previous production blog, “Commence!” I mentioned how I particularly wanted it to be dark and gloomy during certain parts of the film. Being though, my sisters and I recorded around 2 minutes of the film, I asked them if we could redo some of the shots to get those dark scenes I was hoping for. So, the scene where my sister is looking out the window, I asked to reshoot that shot, so that it looks more spooky and grabs the attention of the watchers. However, my sister made a comment and said, “scary things can happen during the daytime too.” I took that into account and thought about it. Also while filming today, I realized we might be dragging the film out a bit TOO long. So, because of this, I shortened some of the scenes. I also told my sister to make her movements a bit quicker and anxious like so that it matches the theme a bit more. Everything stayed the same, costumes, makeup, props, setting, all were like how they previously were. During the third filming day, is when I’ll explain more of the finishing process for this film. But, overall, the 2nd filming was pretty sort, and only required a few tweaks. As mentioned before, the third filming day will include the final production process, then into editing, which I despise!
