Re-editing #2

For re-editing the blog, it wasn’t that much to do. We had a few comments from our peers of what could’ve been better. So, we followed these critiques. For one, we lowered the music down on the part where the dialogue starts. This is when the two characters are having a conversation over the phone. We fixed this because although the dialogue might be not the most important part of the film, it was essential that we fix it. This is to get the viewers a clearer understanding of what the two characters are talking about. We lowered to an enough volume that it doesn’t sound like the audio is overpowering what the characters are saying. Valentina also made a comment about how the music sounds like it started over. She means that at a certain point you can tell the music is over. Towards the middle of the video you can obviously hear that the music starts again. This is because we ran out of the audio so we had to use it again. To fix this we removed the beginning of the second audio and tried to fade it better so it could sound more smoother. To make sure we don’t completely restart the audio so it’s not sticking out. Other than that, everyone else said that our video was pretty clear and that the point got across. The only other comment that we took in consideration but didn’t fix was that certain clips had some sort of muddy look to it. This is because we used Ludji’s phone and completely forget that the back of her phone was cracked. So the reason why some clips look that way is because her camera is cracked as well. However, I might be able the fix the quality or edit it to make it look better but it’s a little to late to try to fix. Overall, it wasn’t that much to re-edit which was good.
